Medium size abstract style interesting color and pattern natural marble sculpture by Canadian artist. The raw stone self collected on Vancouver island from Kennedy hill. Light and darker gray base color with pattern that similar to the so-called Picasso marble, that often used for jewelry making.
Polished all around, except where represent the separation, that looks like torn away from the main piece, and where the four elements appairs, chiseled back to coars. The sculpture has a natural satin shine, not enhanced or chemically treated. Pinned and stone epoxy glued to a matching square shape base, what polished as well.

Marble is a hard and dense stone, right on the middle of the hardness scale. Once displayed indoor or outdoor, no maintenance needed, other than regular cleaning with a wet wipe. For exterior display a marble paste coating recommended, because rain and weather condition changes fades the original polished surface. To apply that, just use a soft cloth or felt to buff it over.
We collect all kind of stones from the nearby Rocky mountains to the southern islands. Semi precious specimen used for jewelry making, others for sculptures and carvings, with the purpose to represent this wonderful land, what we call home.
