We cut this natural green jade pendant from a grade A Canadian mineral. The stone prospected in north British Columbia, the well-known Dees lake area. Dark green with high Nephrite content, and extremely hard that allows a bright polish. Despite the fact that jade’s hardness is 7 on the scale of 1 to 10, it’s best known as the toughest stone. When slabbing, even the last millimeter holds, doesn’t breaks off. Polished with the traditional nine step lapidary method, begin with 100 diamond wheel, and by always doubling grit smoothness goes all the way up to 50.000.
It’s a nice large size natural green jade pendant, oval shape, with sterling silver 21 gauge jewelry wire wrap setting.
